Since 2016, the Innovation Accelerator Foundation (IAF) has been and continues to be happy to support and host the Academic Venture Exchange (AVX), a cooperative association of leading comprehensive research universities focused on matching investors and entrepreneurs to venture opportunities packed by university intellectual property (IP). AVX provides up-to-date access to a growing number of university IP ventures seeking feedback, leads, co-founding entrepreneurs, and funding. Membership is by invitation only.

As an AVX Member, AVX will provide the Member the following services:

• Suggestions and Introductions to IP-backed venture opportunities listed on AVX
• Suggestions and Introductions to fellow AVX Members
• Ongoing functionality and technical support for using the AVX platform (avx.io)
• Monthly and Annual reports on AVX progress and statistics

As an AVX Member, the Member will make reasonable efforts to provide:

• Ongoing referral of potentially relevant entrepreneurs, advisors, industry experts, venture capitalists, and other individuals who would benefit the AVX community
• Ongoing feedback on introductions made by AVX to the Member
• Readouts on successful connections and matches due to AVX to be shared in Monthly and Annual reports
